Requests for Workshop Proposals

EdTA seeks proposals in theatre education and technical theatre education that support a broad spectrum of teaching and learning to further the professional growth of teaching artists, classroom teachers and other theatre arts education stakeholders. Workshop proposals should support the Conference theme "The Power of You" by addressing topics such as teacher leadership, culturally responsive teaching, teacher wellness and well-being, and teachers as agents of change.

Proposals should demonstrate best thinking in the field, informed by research, theory, experience, and practice. EdTA is an educational theatre association; so rigor is important to us. As you complete your proposal, keep in mind that the adjudication committee will be looking to understand what you intend to teach the participants and how they will learn and grow from what you have to offer. Use the proposal process as an opportunity for the adjudicators to get to know you and your strengths Submit a workshop proposal.
